Yes, you can be both a Seeker and a Property Manager.

 

Therefore, you can use the platform both to look for accommodation and to do business (by advertising accommodation you own or manage).

 

You just need to create an account in order to manage all your real estate needs. 

No, each user can only have one account.

 

This ensures security and transparency among the community, since each member’s identity is verified through an identification document.

No, this option is not available.

 

However, if you do not wish to use your Kera account for some time, that’s not a problem, as there are no subscription fees.

Having a profile picture which unequivocally identifies you allows you to make a clear and professional impression.

 

Follow these steps to add your profile picture:

        Log in to your account.

        Go to “My profile” on the left side of your dashboard.

        Click on “Add picture” below the space dedicated to your profile picture and choose one from your gallery.

 

If you already added a profile picture and want to change it click on "Change".

 

Remember to choose a picture where your face is clearly visible and not obscured by sunglasses. Choose a picture appropriate to the content and purpose, including a suitable outfit (not a bikini, for example).

You can add, change, or delete your account information at any time by following these steps:

 

        Log in to your account.

        Go to “My profile” on the left side of your dashboard.

        Change whatever you wish: your biography, telephone number, email, password, profile picture and so on.

 

Once saved, your changes will be immediately visible to other members.

Note, however, that if you change your email or telephone number, changes will be visible once they have been verified.

Creating an account on Kera is easy and free:

 

        Go to Kera.com.mt.

        Click on "Sign up" at the top right.

        Add your email and your personal data as instructed (alternatively, you can log in with your Google or Facebook account).

 

Activating your account requires email, telephone number and identity verification.

 

Complete your registration and make sure you personalise your account before proceeding with your activity.

If you delete your account, your personal information will be removed from our system. Any transactions in progress will be cancelled. No refunds will be made for any services or ad packages you have purchased.

 

If you simply do not wish to use your Kera account for some time, that’s not a problem, as there are no subscription fees.

 

If you wish to delete your account because you do not want to receive our newsletter, you can simply unsubscribe from the newsletter service by clicking here.

 

If you wish to delete your account because you are not happy with the number of views and/or requests you receive, you can:

-          Enhance your accommodation’s image. Add some good pictures that present your accommodation better, or request professional multimedia services. Multimedia increase views by 70% on average.

-          Share your listings on popular social networks (such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).

-          Personalise your account and make it unique and attractive.

-          Reduce your listing’s price to make it more competitive.

Make your account unique. It’s easy, it only takes a few minutes and it reflects your creativity.

 

In addition to your personal data entered during registration, you can personalise your account with any kind of information that best represents you and your interests.

 

Start with:

-          Profile picture: add a photo where your face can be seen, in conformity with the image requirements.

-          Biography: write a message for your presentation, of at least 140 characters, to tell something about you, your objectives, why you chose Kera and anything else you’d like to add.

 

Moreover, if you are a Property Manager, you can specify whether you are a property owner, real estate agent or property manager and add professional multimedia to your listings.

 

Remember that a well-created account makes your interaction with other community members easier and more dynamic and gives your contents an edge. 

“Seeker” refers to a Kera website or app user who is looking to rent or buy a property.

 

“Property Manager” refers to a property owner or a professional (such as an agent or manager) who uses the Kera website or app in order to offer accommodation for rent or sale.


Remember: you can use your personal account both as a Seeker, looking for accommodation, and as a Property Manager, doing business. (See Can I be both a Seeker and a Property Manager?)

If you cannot log in to your account, the reason could be one of the following:

-          Wrong email: make sure you type your login email correctly and that Caps Lock is off.

-          Wrong password: Make sure that Caps Lock is off. If you cannot solve the problem, you can reset your password (see How do I change my password?).

-          No Internet connection: make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.

If you cannot solve the problem, please contact our Customer care.

If you are having trouble uploading a picture, the reason could be one of the following:

-          Your photo does not meet the requirements, such as file size or format. Be sure to comply with the following requirements:

     Max. file size: 20 MB

     format: JPG or PNG

-          If you are using your phone, make sure that the Kera app has authorisation to access your gallery. If you have not authorised it, go to your phone’s app settings, find Kera and authorise gallery access.

-          No Internet connection: make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
